People of all genders have met in circle for millennia as a way of connecting, sharing stories, and leading in community. In modern times, circles are now being held all around the world as a way to make time for meaningful self-care and community care, a place to make deeper friendships, and a place to breath out and leave the everyday world behind, even if just for a little while.
Circles are special occasions, it’s like walking into another world. It’s a place where you’re invited to be your full self, to drop your guard, and to just be. Let go the pressures of the world around you, and make time for yourself and your wellbeing.
In circle we relate on a deeper, truer level than we usually do at the pub and in other social settings, allowing you to make stronger connections to yourself, how you’re feeling and what’s happening in your inner world – as well as to make stronger and more fulfilling friendships with others. The health and wellbeing benefits of this are profound!
I’ve been holding circles for women and children for five years and have seen the empowering experience people have when they come to circle. I see a need for men to have their own space, and have been asked many times if I would ever do a circle for men to allow them to have this experience for themselves. Now is the time! Given that I have extensive skills, experience and training in hosting circles, I am very happy to be helping our men’s community to set up their own Men’s Circles.
This circle planned for 19/11 is the very first one! So book in, come along, and let yourself experience something new, exciting, meaningful, and restorative.
I’ll be providing a relaxing environment, light refreshment, and guidance so that this group can continue meeting in circle in future, if you would like to.
Circle will go for a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon, so you can enjoy this tail-end of the weekend and feel re-invigorated and inspired for the week ahead.
Ticket price covers venue hire, snacks and time.
Thanks so much, hope to see you there,
Charlotte Pointeaux
