How your dosha affects your menstrual cycle in ayurvedic wisdom
Jyoti Chadda is my cycle coach sister, its an honour and exciting to introduce you to her and her cycle work rooted in the traditions of Ayurveda and Yoga.
Jyoti explains that Ayurveda translates to “knowledge of life” and she describes it as a very holistic science, the sister science of yoga, and a philosophy wherein the physical and energetic bodies are understood as a whole rather than individual and separate parts.
What You’ll Learn
Jyoti’s journey from school teacher to cycle coach and biz owner,
An overview of the three doshas which I think of now as being energetic archetypes and how they are expressed within us and within the three phases of the Ayurvedic menstrual cycle.
What we might experience if one of these doshas is out of balance in us and in our cycle and tips for coming back to balance.
Her new podcast which is coming in April: Decolonising Wellness, which is a must listen!!
How we can come back to coherence with family, earth and cosmos to bring harmony to our inner world and health.
How perimenopause triggered her own inner healing journey, and how she supports herself to connect with and release her emotions to have a more conscious menopause process.

Perhaps that doesn’t surprise you if you’re a regular listener, and today’s guest Claire Falconer wants us to celebrate our biological difference as cyclical women, and to put our cycle front and centre of our exercise routines. Claire says that when you understand and work with your cycle, not only do results come quicker and more easily, but you avoid longer-term health issues that can come up from gymming like a dude.
Who Holds The Mother? Healing The Inner Split in Matrescence. When a baby is born, everyone rushes to hold the baby. But who is holding the Mother? This is the big question which Amy Taylor-Kabbaz is advocating to be resolved. Amy’s work centres Matrescense, the becoming of a Mother, which happens slowly, almost invisibly to others, but felt deeply by the woman. This rich, deep, powerful conversation bought Amy and I together on something we feel so strongly about: that rites of passages must be honoured in modern cultures to ensure the wellbeing of all – especially the Feminine. Join us on Wild Flow Podcast with Charlotte Pointeaux to hear more about what Matrescence is and where it originated, how we experience an Inner Split as our identities, perspectives and whole self irreversibly changes in Matrescence, how our careers, roles and value changes in Motherhood, and what we can collectively do to reclaim and honour The Mother. I guide you in an embodiment process and talk about the significance of the Equinox, called Ostara in the Celtic Wheel of the Year (southern hemisphere). Ostara is linked to big Maiden energy, and I’m sharing how she might show up for you, where, and how you can honour this point of the cycle.
