How your dosha affects your menstrual cycle in ayurvedic wisdom
Jyoti Chadda is my cycle coach sister, its an honour and exciting to introduce you to her and her cycle work rooted in the traditions of Ayurveda and Yoga.
Jyoti explains that Ayurveda translates to “knowledge of life” and she describes it as a very holistic science, the sister science of yoga, and a philosophy wherein the physical and energetic bodies are understood as a whole rather than individual and separate parts.
What You’ll Learn
Jyoti’s journey from school teacher to cycle coach and biz owner,
An overview of the three doshas which I think of now as being energetic archetypes and how they are expressed within us and within the three phases of the Ayurvedic menstrual cycle.
What we might experience if one of these doshas is out of balance in us and in our cycle and tips for coming back to balance.
Her new podcast which is coming in April: Decolonising Wellness, which is a must listen!!
How we can come back to coherence with family, earth and cosmos to bring harmony to our inner world and health.
How perimenopause triggered her own inner healing journey, and how she supports herself to connect with and release her emotions to have a more conscious menopause process.

Eating to nourish your menstrual cycle. Lucia Mazzella is a functional health cycle coach, mad about teaching traditional kitchen wisdom to women and people with periods who want to take their health into their own hands and live in sync with their cycles. Her approach is simple, down to earth and practical, focusing on reducing period pain and PMS while balancing hormones naturally using food as medicine. And I love loved our conversation on Wild Flow Podcast with Charlotte Pointeaux, and so will you.
Lucia and I spoke about:
What does eating for your cycle mean and how is it different from syncing with food
Why is food so important for hormone health, and therefore menstrual health, fertility and overall good health?
How to meal prep for your period?
How to overcome those roadblocks you face that throw you off a wholesome meal and into calling for an Uber Eats.
Lucia’s freebie masterclass “Meal Prep For Your Best Period Ever” and upcoming Moon Menu live cooking school. listen now at www.charlottepointeaux.com/podcast

Today’s guest Emma Campbell is my old listening buddy who I met when we both had small children, and we’re growing our businesses. We both wanted to do things in a way that honoured the season of life we we’re in, and permitted us to simply be where we were at. When I shared that I am a Cycle Coach with Emma for the first time, she soaked up all the information I gave her and began syncing her life and work to the moon, whilst she was breastfeeding.
Fast forward to today and Emma is sharing cycle awareness in corporate teams and seeing huge shifts in leadership and performance when women and leaders notice how staff feel, communicate and perform differently across their cycles. Cycle-aware workplaces are happening people! Listen to Wild Flow Podcast with Charlotte Pointeaux to learn about :
how we both use cycle wisdom to support the sustainable, aligned and impactful growth of our own businesses whilst being present at home
the important lessons Emma learnt from connecting with her own cycle
why cycle awareness is so important and impactful to take into the workplace and how it’s being received by her clients!
how cycle awareness is like a powerful personality test for personal growth and team performance.
