Diversity and Inclusion Statement
I, Charlotte Pointeaux, would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which I live, learn and conduct my business, the Gundungurra people of the Yuin Nation. I pay my respects and give great thanks to their Elders past, present and future. This respect extends to all First Nations people I engage with or who visit this site.
I, Charlotte Pointeaux, am committed to holding a safe, inclusive space for all people, without discrimination by race, colour, religion, ability, gender, sexuality, or any other segregating factor. Particularly I wish to express my commitment to the safe inclusion of all who identify as a girl / womxn / female regardless of pronouns including Trans, Gender Diverse and Non-Binary (TGDNB) identifying people and those who identify as LGBTQIA+. And also to the safe inclusion and support of people identifying as Black, Indigenous, and People Of Colour with a focus on supporting and welcoming Aboriginal-identifying people.
I am committed to continuing own (paid) education and training to increase my capacity to hold as safe and inclusive space for minorities as possible, and seek to ensure my programs and opportunities reflect this and am grateful to my teachers, namely, Sharon Holmes, Louise O’Reilly and Annie Gichuru.
